Student Travel Award Guidelines
Eligibility
Full-time or part-time PhD or MSc students may apply.
Honours students are not eligible to apply for travel awards.
The applicant must submit an abstract to the Conference as the first author.
Awards must be collected in person at the Meeting.
Acceptance criteria
- Completed application form and attached letter
- Received by the Conference Secretariat by the due date
- Applicant is the first author and the presenting author on a submitted abstract
Ranking criteria
Awards do not provide full reimbursement. All eligible applicants will receive a travel award; the number of successful applicants will therefore dictate the size of an individual award.
Size of the Award
After candidates are selected for a Student Travel Award, the award amount will be scaled according to the distance from the Meeting location.
Note: Successful applicants who do not attend the meeting, or who do not collect
their award in person at the meeting, will forfeit their Award
